2011 Scholarship Awards Program
& Annual General Meeting

ATV Patrol, High Bar, British Columbia Interior

To Members of the Society of Pacific Region Fishery Officers,

It's been almost a year since out last gathering at Whistler.  That means we are approaching another Annual General Meeting.  This year it will be held by conference call and the time and details are still being worked out.  So please stay tuned as there are many exciting new things happening with the Society including some openings in our Executive and Area Director positions. Here are a few updates until our conference call.

2011 also brings us to another spring to put out our Society of Pacific Region Fishery Officers Scholarship Awards Program.  As you all remember last year a $1000 scholarship was awarded to Tony Maestrello. This year we are looking to offer another $1000 scholarship.  The deadline for applications is June 30, 2011.  Please see the attached documents for the complete application process and feel free to forward this information onto anyone who is eligible.

Any questions, comments or concerns please forward them to me or any other Executive or Director on the "Contact Us" link on our website.

Thanks,

Janna Nelson
Secretary/Treasurer
